Pediatric Obesity: Scope and Management

Dr. Stephanie Rose, MD, MPH
Dr. Stephanie Rose attended medical school at the University of Louisville. After completing residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, she completed a general medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and a masters of public health at the Harvard School of Public Health. She is currently an assistant professor in the department of general internal medicine and the college of public health at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. After receiving her certification in obesity medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2013 she started a weight management clinic focusing on behavioral and lifestyle change, and is studying her patients’ qualitative and quantitative outcomes in order to promote weight loss programs in the primary care setting.
